Saturday Night Fever!

Well, Saturday night was beautiful weather . My car felt so good due to the cool weather. So, I decided to take the car out to the local tracks. Had a handful of runs.

1st run was with a fully built LS in a CRX. We went from a 50 roll and a 60 roll. Both runs resulted in me pulling multiple cars. We ran again from like 70, I left it in 4th and same results.

2nd run was with a new 07 BMW 335i twin turbo. We ran from a Supra roll:lol: about 65-125. Car really suprised the hell out of me, it was damn quick up top. At 125mph he was at my rear door/1/4 panel and I let out due to traffic.

3rd run was with a 06 STi, we went from about 25 mph roll by 100 I had about 3 1/2 cars or so. I think he let out near the end of the track :dunno:


4th and last run was with a 04-05 Mustang GT with long tubes,exhaust,373 gears, looked like drag radials and not sure if it had any thing else done. Very nice guy and clean ass car. We went from a 20-25 mph roll had a couple cars on him by 110 and let out. We tried to do a 45 mph roll as well but my dumbass was in 5th gear when he honked it off and well, my car didn't move:lol: These runs was video taped by Havoc,maybe it will be posted.

All in all it was a fun night. I am really loving the cool weather, hopefully it stays this way for a bit.:cool:

was the GT an 04 or 05? they are very different, the '04 is the last generation and the 05 is the retro style

I can finally say it back to the srt and sti guys instead of the other way around .

With tuning and a couple bolts ons that thing will smoke you. They are putting out nearly 300rwhp stock and with tune and exhaust they are making nearly 350rwhp. I cant wait to see the aftermarket for this car seeing evosport , VISHNU is making a flash for them already.

^Like I said, I was very impressed. I would have pulled him harder from a dig but up top he hung pretty good. If he was tuned it would have definitely been closer.

I fully agree with you but you mean 300 to the wheels right? cause its been proven that BMW is under rating those cars and claim they have 300 to the crank.

300rwhp is 300 to the wheels and yes people have been dynoing these and seeing 280rwhp all the way to 300rwhp

ive have yet to see one of these. i want to run a modded one to see what its all about. how will i know if its one, special badging?

It was dark so I didn't really notice any special badging except the one on the back that said 335i. However, I knew it was something special by the closeness of the race.

BMW definately under rated this car by a lot, 1 test drive is all it took for me, and I wasn't even really shopping for one. The torque is just awesome and power up top is good, in town mileage with beating on it 19~21mpg so far, getting slightly better over time. Highway gets 28+ if u use cruise, gas mileage only hits like 24 without using cruise.

2007 BMW 335xi (Twin Turbo & AWD) in March 2007

So I got to ride in a friend's new BMW 335 coupe, that thing is a beast...so i started poking around and found this... hmmm March 2007

I think this is my new car, with RWD i would end up dead in 1 week, maybe w/ AWD i can last up to 1 month :lol:
