BMP Is Looking For Some Help For The Upcoming Snowbird Race In December
The track manager at BMP sent me this info this morning, if you would like to help out PM me your e-mail address and contact numbers and I will forward them to the right person.
Bradenton is looking for:
FOD’ duties (Foreign object detectors).
or
Track Spotters
1. Need 6 volunteers 18 years or older including 1 coordinator. (must be present one hour before staring time for instructions)
2. Saturday hours 2pm until end of night...9pm?
3. Sunday hours from 10am until end of event.
4. Volunteers will need to sign a release.
5. Volunteers will receive event t-shirt
6. Volunteers will receive two 3-day tickets...one for their use and one for a friend.
7. Volunteers will need to park in spectator parking lot.
8. Volunteers will remain next to fence then approach track after each pass and look for fluids or parts on racing surface then return to fence area.
Suggested items to bring.
1. Chair
2. Cooler
3. Sunscreen

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
