View Full Version : Me vs. Slow ass srt-10 and a couple others
So last night I decided to take the car out because I was itching for a race. Watched a few cars run and then decided it was time to call a few people out and see what would go down.
1st couple of races was me vs. a 5.0 fox with no hood. the car sounded pretty mean so I thought it might be close. On our 1st run from a dig he spun pretty bad I guess and I didn't so I put a few decent cars on him. the 2nd run with him on the way back he wanted a 25 roll so I agreed and it ended a lil worse i believe. he was cool though so everything was well!
After that some guys came from tampa with the fastest truck in the world along with the fastest civic in the world as well. As soon as they pulled up and got out I walked over to ask the civic for a run since he was supposedly the fastest car out of that group but he declined for some reason.:dunno: So then I called out this srt10 ram and the guy just kinda laughed and said I'd be a waste of his gas:lol: :lol: I was like damn I've never heard any1 say an ls1 car was a waste of gas to run, but you know there is a 1st for everything. Well, that kinda got under my skin so i immediately offered a 200$ race and started to head toward the ATM, but as soon as he heard my car he decided we should run for "fun"lol.... Anyway we went from a 50 roll or so because he can't drive it yet(he probably never will be able to) and I walked his ass up until he missed 3rd gear. I waited for him to get it into 3rd and hit it again and continued the ass whooping while throwing him the peace sign because he was cocky....all in all it was a good night for me. I love showing idiots with 2 much money how bad they suck at driving. Oh yea after that he wanted an I-4 race from 70 because he didn't want to miss 3rd again, but I decided that would be a waste of my gas and way to high of a roll.

I did see one run a low 12..... But of course, it did have 250shot :lol: No, I'm not kidding.... At least the motor has potental....
But yea... They suck..... high 14s @ 92-96mph for $50K+ ? Nahhh, no thanx.

I appreciate your confidence and I do have to somewhat agree that know matter what kind of supercar they're driving, if the drvier is shitty he's more liekly to loose. On the other hand the SRT-10 is kind of a trophy piece more or less for the average driver, it's pretty to look at, fun to ride on, but that's about it, unless you've added a few things to overcome some obstacles. It does take you a minimum of 2 attempts to find 3rd in that beast, so I do sympathize there. If they had raced an all out run til one of them quit I think the outcome would have been a little closer, (pending driver skills).

You hve no idea what your talking about.... A car that traps over 100mph STOCK vs a truck that on a good day traps 96mph. and the 100mph car is modded to the tune of about 400whp..... Yea..... No chance, EVER, with JOHN FORCE driving the SRT-10 did he EVER have a chance PEROID.
I could have let Eric drive my car ( which he's never driven ), and I could have drove the SRT-10, and the SRT-10 would have STILL lost by many cars.
People just really are in denal about how slow those sledes are.
BTW, all this coming from one of SRTs BIGGEST fans. That camaro at any race, at any speed would have KILLED that truck with ease, with ANY driver.
Don't complained about the shifter, he had the chance to buy an automatic just like every other SRT-10 ram owner. It truely is sad the Hemi ram is faster with a CAI and a chip. ON the street, from a dig, the Hemi ram might win without any mods....

Are you guys serious!!! The STR-10 is a nice truck but it want hold a candle to the LS1 in a short OR long distance run do your home work. Or don't because I did it for you the str-10 has a top speed of 150mph and the camaro is in the upper 160s. don't get me wrong they are some nice trucks and very fast for a truck and I do like them but to have some monkey di-k say that an LS1 is a waist of gas for him and then get beat just makes me:lol: .
I am not trying to start a flame fest here just stating the facts. The str-10 over 100mph is a fu-king brick. NO aerodynamics going on there.

srt10 is a dog..but with some mods, it would be a different story..and driver does matter most def in those big trucks.. they are just a freaking boat..too heavy..lol
anything can be made fast with mods...this guy just thought his truck was god and it ohhh so much fun to make him eat his words about my car being a waste of gas. The funny thing is that he honestly thought he would win if we raced again from 70mph....lol.

And if you know anything about SRT10s they are known for not catching 3rd gear... If your ready to run it again, Ill let him know... umm...i dont know what you have done to yours, but i ran one at the track and beat it by like 8-10 cars after he beat me out of the whole, so i dont think that they are top end monsters...they are quick as hell for a truck but would definately be better for dig racing

I worked at Jerry Ulm Dodge, I sold those truck, I drove them nearly on a daily basis.....and they are just not that fast. A regular cab 6speed 'may' hit mid 13's with a hell of a launch on a prepped track.
lucky. when i was in new car sells they didnt let anyone drive off the lot in a new svt. i never got to test drive a terminator or lighting :(

Us boys from Tampa are on this site... I just bought the truck a week or so before we ran... SRT10s are known for missing third gear.. But when that bitch hits 3rd there isnt much thats going to hang around it... The boys car barely pulled on me, and he was spraying... The guy didnt want a run on I4.... We can definitly line them up again... Just let me know whats up....

That SRT10 is my buddies Truck.. He only had it for a week and a half before the race... Since then he has learned how to drive... And if you know anything about SRT10s they are known for not catching 3rd gear... If your ready to run it again, Ill let him know... how did i not pull by much when i waited for him to catch 3rd and still raped him. I wasn't the cocky one out there btw...i wanted to run on the motor until that dumbass said it would be a waste of his gas. its funny how when i started my car and said i was going to the atm he just wanted to run for fun...also, unless u were the one in the truck with him you would have no idea because of how far down the road we were.
