ok ive got a couple questions. ive got a civic with manual doors. i just got a good deal on a pair of those dei 2 wire actuators. so here are the questons

1)do i have to buy an alarm with the heyless entry feature to use these or will any alarm with an aux. work?

2)do i need the dei door lock relay module and/or anything else?

thanks.

door lock actuators wholesale for about $10 each, you do need 2 relays and a alarm that has aux or lock/unlock outputs to activate them

Just buy two momentary switches and 5 lead relays. Thats all you need.

You can also get a cheap alarm that have lock/unlock and use that with the two relays.

you need one of those unless you want to control both doors independantly (but why?).

Or just get two 5 lead relays and wire it yourself for 8 bucks.

well i can buy one of those off ebay for 6 bucks so im just going to do that. that way i dont have to worry about my solder points breaking and having to take the panel off again and fix it. these have the plugs. just seems simpler to me. but thanks alot for the help.
