I'm sorry but I am getting so sick of people telling me that biker's get into accidents because we don't "respect" the road. Okay, sure, there's some idiots out there that do things they shouldn't. But there are car drivers out there that are just as dumb. People think that just because I ride a motorcycle they don't have to respect me. I get cut off, ran off, honked at, sand and cigarettes thrown at. All because I apparently don't respect the road. Most accidents are caused, not by a biker being cocky, but by a driver being an idiot.

Here's the main point.
OF ALL PEOPLE, MOTORCYCLISTS RESPECT THE ROAD THE MOST!
Because an accident to us, could mean our lives.

(and I will state this again, yes some bikers are idiots and disrespectful, but I know a lot of car drivers that are just as bad)

i agree 100% bro. im an aggressive rider i dont like being around cars so you might call me crazy irresponsiable or what have you i dont care what you call me. I guess what im trying to say is i can give a damn what anybody thinks about me especially those assholes who flick cigs at you or give you the bird for getting around them. i personally feel safer when im in front cars and there are none to the side of me and if i gotta be a prick for looking out for my saftey so no one side swipes me or cuts me off or anything for that matter then so be it. I guess im an asshole irresponiable person?

But I'm glad to know I'm not alone. The other day there was a truck who got pissed off about having to wait at the light so he jumped into my left turn lane and just about flipped me off of my bike. I revved HARD (since my horn is practically useless) and he rolls down his window and gives me the finger. So I just took out my cellphone and took a picture of his license plate...Well that pissed him off and he got outta the car and started cussing at me and telling me there wasn't shit I could do about it. Girl's don't belong on motorcycles, what am I some kind of dyke...and so on and so forth. I just laughed, flipped my visor down and pulled into the next parking area. Called the cops and reported the license. Bastard...
