Gauging interest – Driven Concepts BBQ / Open House / Fender Rolling Party

There seems to be a lot of interest with people wanting to get their fenders rolled. I am interested to see how much potential interest there might be for DC to hold a BBQ / Open House / Fender Rolling Party. The plan would include a gathering of people that would pitch in $5 or so to fund a get-together / BBQ. While the BBQ is taking place, we can hold a fender rolling special, with sample pricing such as $20 per side to roll and then $40 to pull. If there’s an interest, I would not mind to set something up on a Saturday and have a little show outside our shop. The next weekend coming up (Oct. 7th) will be the monthly Nissan meet, maybe we can do a cookout at DC.

This of course does NOT only include Nissans or RWD, anyone’s welcome, we have rolled FWD fenders just as much as RWDs.

Let’s see if there’s an interest guys.

So, what's do you all think is a good day to do this? Let get some suggestions. Here are some dates that are free for all of us.

October 7th = NO GO - slamfest, etc

October 14 = NO GO

October 21 = OPEN

October 28 = TR track day (Do it earlier in the day then cruise out together?)

November 4th = OPEN

Got a news flash for you pal, in the business world ( which im sure you know absolutley nothing about ) you find things that work for your business no matter if you think of it or someone else does. When its your money and time invested you cant be set on always being original, because original doesn't always pay the bills.

So unless you are some sort of expert in creative thinking that pays, stfu.

You don't heat up the paint first? Don't you have problems with it cracking?

It depends on how much we are rolling or pulling. For a normal roll and a minor pull, the paint stays in tacks. We use a heat gun for harder rolls/pulls.
