How often do you check your fluids?

One thing I notice working at my shop is just lack of checking fluids would prevent a lot of parts and engine failures. In my opinion and what I do, is I check things about ever 2 weeks along with my tires too. 5 minutes of of checking can save you lot of headaches.
I usually try to check things at least once a month. But when I am in possession of a car, I always seem to be doing something under the hood, whether it be maintenance or upgrading shit. Anytime I happen to have the hood up I check everything out, mainly cause it's convienient.

+1, I don't usually check tire pressure more than once a month though. I think I've heard once a week should be the norm. Key words there are should be.
