Dunlop Qualifiers???
I took my bike to the dealership today and needed a tire ASAP and they didn't have a pilot power, so i settled for the dunlop. What do you guys like and dislike about this tire? i'm about to go break it in, in a little bit. I'm a sceptic, the last dunlop i owned was on my 97 cbr and it was a 208 right when they came out lol.

I have a set on the ONE right now, and I love them. They are nothing like the previous Dunlops. I swore I would never run another Dunlop again, but these tires kick ass.
They dont slide as much as the Pilot Powers, and give you better feed back. They seem to get to operating temperature prety quick (in the current weather conditions). Compared to the Pilot Powers, they have a broader operating temperature. Where the Pilot Power would over heat and grease up, the Qualifier still holds tight.
The Profile on the Pilot Power is alittle rounder then on the Qualifier. Despite being called a 190/50-17 the side wall is alittle taller. The Qualifier feels alot like the Pirelli Diablo Corsa, and anyone who knows me knows I love the Corsa. I cant comment on tire wear yet, but it seems to be on par with the other high end sport bike rubber currently on the market.
What it's going to come down to is what you feel comfortable on. Alot of the slower guys live by the Pilot Power.
(Ouch, did I just say that?? LOL

Do you really have to start a thread every time you go on a ride and see a guy with no helmet on?
Does it affect you that much that some random guy 1500 miles away went and paid his own money for a 1000?
Do we really have to fight over who uses the back brake or not?
Do you have to argue over stupid pointless shit on the Internet?

yea i noticed it doesn't have the width of tread like the pilot, and looks similar to the pirelli, but i figure i'll give it a go. Good description by the way lol. any others?

I have the Qualifiers and currently have almost 3200 miles on them, from the looks of it I should need a new rear around 4000-4500 miles. I ride 40+ miles one way to work everday.
I have never ran Pilot Powers, I had Dunlop 208's and Metzeler M1's and hated them both.... I will definately be putting the Qualifiers back on my 06 ZX10.
