Nope. We do one event later in the year that will be a BMW vs Porshce event. It will noted as such, all these events are open to every one. Space is limited I think we let put up to 3 months in advance up on myautoevents.com.
Our next event is Oct 22nd. then Sept 19th.

Just to let evey one know we will be running 3 groups for this event only. OCT 22nd.
. Due to the 15 drivers we had sign up: that were at the car control clinic. We also gave them the option to try an Autocross.

So we will run 3 groups in the AM.. proabably 4 runs each..
Then in the afternoon who ever wants to stay we will form 2 groups and do more runs.
I am having a meeting with the club Monday to get every thing finalized. But I wanted to give all of you a heads up.

ALSO, there is some concern with the Club doing an even Jan 9th 2007.. since its so close to the holidays . What is the feeling of this group RE a Jan event.. Yes , No??

Good to hear about the car control clinic participants coming back out to autox. You could see at the end of the day how aggressive with the course they were becoming. It made it fun.

:( I didn't get to do the skid pad.

As for Jan, you know me Barry, no family so holidays are are with my family ... my cars :)

They also finished up the construction so no more re routing to get in the airport :)

What does it cost to run in one of these? And do I need to sign up for scca, nasa, or another organization's membership?

Thanks for the post Barry.

If I showed up for Mother's Day AND Easter,
I'll show up for Xmas.
Schedule every event you can, whenever you can.

It looks like PCA is also running on 10-22-06, unless I wrote it down wrong.

Chi Town, Your "no family" post made me sad.
I pictured you sitting alone with a can of Spam.
(maybe that's my weird brain.)

Appreciate these dates being posted WAY in advance since it's like pulling teeth for me to get weekend days off work. I can beat everyone else to the punch on these days now:)

Twank.. see the bmw site at FSCBMWCCA :: Driving Events (http://www.fscbmwcca.org/drivingevents.html#faq)

We dont vary the rate if you are not a member of BMWCCA. its $25 for every one. No yearly dues: not making you join our club. Now if you have a BMW there are some good reasons to join.

Thanks for the feedback.. I will go forward with Jan. Looks like a few of the other BMWCCA members will miss it. But I am sure we will have enough persons register to cover costs.
