o we are ordering a flip out tv off e-bay i cant remeber the name of the dvd unint but its a jensen screen... dont you have to hook them to your ebrake or something like that? wehat about in a car with the foot E-brake? what do i do?

 

If it's an indash unit, yeah, they usually have a parking brake wire. All it usually is is a ground though...just ground it and it'll work.

 

sometimes you need a momentary switch - on off on to make it release the screen... the new jensen dvd combos r like that.

Just ground the green cable.. if there even is one. Beware that screen is very very low quality so dont expect crystal clear video.

I have bought off brand screens before with good results, but most of them dont have a backlight control - that means that the brightness and the contrast will only affect the picture but hte backlight will even at night be at full power.
