I let my step dad borrow my car while his 91 civic is down. Second day of him driving my lincoln he calls me outside and said we had trouble. He siad my sunroof blew off the car on the interstate and sattered, I now have a big gaping hole in my roof. He is going to cover it with plastic and duct tape. He said he would be nice and pay to fix it since he was driving when it happened( I wasn't going to pay for his fuck up). No glass no frame or arms. Does anyone know a place that can fix this in the brandon area?

 

it wouldve happened regaurdless of whos driving it but thats between you and your dad. anyways, i had that happen to me, only it was just the glass that came off, i still had the frame and everything. i went to the junk yard and bought an entire roof of a car for $100 and took what i needed off of it. it was easy to fix. good luck!

 

No one has a used one anywhere. Cheapest estimate I got was 600 to fix it. Sucks for me, told me he cann't pay that till next month. I never had a single issue with the roof, main reason I got this car was for the sunroof. Might sell it now, my love for the car is gone .

 

why would it fall off only when he was using it.

did he think ur supposed to push it up and open or what?

 

The bigger question is, why is an adult driving a 91 civic?

 

I have no idea how the hell he broke it. He has a 91 civic because he has two repos on his credit. He is in his forties and plans to put a set of subs and a big amp in the trunk my mom really knows how to pick a winner.
