Default It's fun to drive again...

with all of the bumps in the road in the short time i have owned this car i am finally having fun with it. With the original motor droping a rod within the first week of me owning it and the new motor tansplant and the countless hours spent fixing the old motor and it dieing and pulling it and swaping the new motor, it is finally running strong. Thanks to Central Florida Performance for the sweet deal on a grat KA motor on short notice. up next..... new tranny and clutch, then the a/c pump, then the turbo kit

hopefully this weekend i will be putting in a fresher tranny and a new clutch and short throw. The tranny that is in it now has about 170k+ miles on it and the syncros are gone!

i do, but the tranny still needs to be replaced or rebuilt. and the clutch DEFINATLY needs to be replaced. The only reason i put it back in after i did the motor swap was because i was gonna be putting a new tranny in soon. The rivets from the clutch plate are getting ready to rub the damn fly wheel

next time this happens, you can take your clutch disc to a clutch shop and they can put new pads on it relatively inexpensively.

also, you said your doing a/c then turbo kit, didnt hear any mention of suspension or diff. TC bushings? etc?
