1j vs 7m

Went out with the mk3 people tonight for a cruise. Theres been some trash talk between Eli and I. So tonight we do a few runs..

First run, I guess he didn't have enough time to brake boost against the stock 1j, so we won't count that.

Second run, 3 beeps and we're off. I'm ahead a good 1 1/2 cars and let out at 100...He says an accord was in his way...

Third run, 3 beeps and we go, had a car and a half until I had to let out for a 4runner in front of me. Good runs Eli, we'll get plenty more in.

7m has an sc61 with fuel, map ecu. Not sure how much boost he's running. 1j is completely stock running .78 bar of boost. I'm pretty happy with it, although it will be going down, as that turboI've been having problems with is smoking like crazy and not boosting like it should. Can't wait to get the new twins put on and turn the boost up!

Not to get in the middle, but I saw you 2 line up for miles, didnt see much going. Without vids, its he said she said, so until then I feel I have beat no one and no one has beat me, get it on film since no one seems to be around when these "races" happen. Anyone who knows me knows I will run just about anyone, even knowing I lose, but this bickering between the group needs to stop.
I am sick and tired of the stock 1J this, and the 61mm 7M that, run what you got, get results and go from there, No 2 cars are the same, we run setups, not excuses...End Rant.

I never admitted I didn't say those things about Eli. I truely felt that way about him after tonight. After our runs to throw the hazards on like he has won and just keep driving was pretty crappy in my opinion. Yes after the second run I threw mine on him, only after he had done it to me previously on the Causeway. And to say its never you 7m guys bringing it up, you are full of shit. Ask Dave how much the 7m guys trashed the 1j in Orlando. Oh wait, you weren't there for that... Its always been a 7m vs 1j issue, never a we all have mk3's lets enjoy them. You aren't around to hear or see it... The real issue is you 7m guys won't admit defeat or give respect for the 1jz.. I have said numerous times Denny's car is faster, but I've ran him plenty of times for fun. In fact Denny is the only one out of that group I have any respect for, you know why? He gives respect. He's the only one who has said, nice car/swap it moves nicely. I will say Victor admitted to it once as well.When the new twins go on, I'll be out with the camera, and you 7m guys can come get all you want....Until then, I'll be laying low, making the car last until..Bill, I hope we can all enjoy our cars and not the engine they have in it someday, but I don't ever see it happening. I called Victor because Eli threw his hazards on, and when I pull up next to him and say you honestly don't think you won that race do you? He just takes off real fast without another run. For that, I have no respect for him...I give plenty of respect to people who give it in return. If you trash my car, don't expect me to sit and take it. I will trash back...


I didn't turn this into a 1j vs 7m battle, that was done long before I even did my motor swap, so get your facts straight. You aren't aroudn nearly enough to see how my car got bashed, joking or not.

Troy, I find it funny how well I get along with everyone, yet I have the problem!!!! I haven't complained once:dunno: Since Brad seems to think I'm some evil person, I guess I'll have to let him be. Just so everyone knows that cares, I haven't said one bad thing about Brad. A week ago I made a comment that he took EXTREMELY personal for some fucking reason. Now he has "no respect" for me. I guess that's ok with me because why would I want to force a "friendship." In any event, this thread isn't about all that. Brad just has something to prove I guess and this is the way he plans on doing it. Like I told you last night Brad, when you're ready to set something up like a real race, I'm there. You shouldn't have a problem beating me so we can make it interesting with a little wager if you want. I haven't made any excuses as of yet, so I'm good to go. I'll bring what I bring. I don't recall using "tuning" to back out of any race and I don't plan to now. My car is slow, so let's just go. I raced 5 times last night and it was all just for the hell of it.
