Default Lagging Sr20, need help

just purchased a 1989 s13 with a red top, runs great for about the first 20 minutes of a drive and then it starts to lag super bad, not turbo lag(turbo is spooling just fine) but like my rpm's just seem to not go up while the turbo is working real hard. the power steering is leaking kinda bad, don kno if that has anything to do with it. would appreciate any advice. thanks

Its your powerstearing pump leaking. Seriously, I have the same problem until I fill the resivour and then it goes away until I have to fill it again. It feels like a brake pad is sticking or something until you give it more gas and then the car takes off right?

all sr's run rich! check the sparks plugs same on mine. pwr sterring has nothing to do with it. also do u have a fmic or a smic. check all your intercooler pipng for any leak. i.e. check the clamps.

UH! yea it did. When the pump runs almost compleatly dry it would drag on my motor. Fulled the resivour and it was compleatly gone. When it was low the car would do the exact same thing. There was no other issues with the car. I would say fill up the resivour and see how it runs after that. I even posted a thread a long time ago about this same issue. let me look.
