if you feel like driving to palm harbor I'll install it for $20, or you can read and do it yourself.
You will need:
- Crimp caps
- Electrical Tape
- Philips
- Flathead
- Wire Strippers/crimpers
1994 nissan maxima:
1. Remove the top Air vent controller/clock
2. Unscrew top radio/hvac mount screws (2)
3. Remove ashtray
4. Remove ashtray Trim
5. Remove bottom Radio/hvac mount screws (2)
With aftermartket Radio
6. remove outer sleeve from radio
7. Remove stock radio from brackets
8. Use screws from stock radio to mount aftermarket in the brackets
With the harness
9. Match up colors and crimp
10.Bind this harness wire with tape as it sometimes has to be squished behind the radio.
11. Make the harness connections and put it all back together!
** This all came from memory so I may be off slightly but you get the general idea.
** Always test speaker leads and power/ground before making permanent connections
** Test radio operation before putting it back together
I've done it in my altima (same year) and im pretty sure the same BASIC trim is constant in both cars, I have to say its really really easy to install, just make sure you give yourself decent time, look things over carefully then TEAR THAT BITCH APART! :D
