I found this on another forum and thought I might bring it up here as well:

If a friend borrowed your car for a day and returned it with all the Sirius presets changed - What would you do / how would you feel?

I personally consider this a cardinal offense punishable by anything from banishment from borrowing the car to 10 free minutes with his GF.

How about you guys?

I don't even understand why you would need to reset the presets for only a day's worth of use??? But yeah, I wouldn't allow the person to borrow the car anymore. I wouldn't let someone borrow my car to begin with though.

I would let him change all the presets he wanted to and as many times are he wanted to if I got 10 minutes with the g/f each time he done so. Where do I sign up?

I just think it brings up the wider topic of what would you do if he changed anything around in your car?

I personally never let anyone touch my car. I used to always find everything moved around in places where it was too proper for me. When i sit in anyone else's car i try my best to not touch a single setting, even the radio, just to make sure they feel that i respected their space and property.

If i were to change someone's setting i feel that they have all the right to never let me touch the driver's seat again and the same would be applied vice versa.

I expect some stuff to be changed when anyone drives ANY of my vehicles. I'm 6foot 4. Most of the mirrors will have a great view of the headliner or sky when I drive, and the seal will be somewhere near the back bumper. I dont change the side mirrors in anyones cars, unless I cant help it, since I know how hard it is to get those back to what you liked.

I dont really know why someone would change my settings, as far as radio presets, because I dont expect to omany people to be able to find audio settings on my cd player.

Either way they'd be doing me a favor, my seats are dirty, my glove box is a rats nest, and my oil is almost totally congealed. All that for the chang ein the ash tray? Deal.

bahahahahahahahaha I almost agree, except for the oil part. I'd just like the new seat covers... hope they match for the 25 cents i have in my change thingy
