I am going to install HID's in my 2003 S10 and I was wondering if anyone knew how to disable the day time running lights. Thanks in advance.

Turn on the parking lights.

lol, just kidding.

See that little panel door on the side of your dashboard where the door meets it? The left side... Open that panel I think there should be a black connection that you unconnect and you're good to go

if you can find the optical sensor somewhere on the dash, just pull the dash up and unplug it

Daytime running lamps run 24/7. These aren't light-activated ones

Where did you go? Did you die? Because I want to know what happened.

That was first mod on my 04 GTO. Funny, the dealer put a new one in when I went in for tire rotate and balance. Now I have 2 in the glovebox. Most GM DRL relays live in the engine compartment fuse/relay box.
Ls1edit or HPTuner will turn it off too.
