I have noticed a little noise problem with my brakes. Ever since I changed my rotors(4 months ago) to drilled and slotted I have noticed a sound that is hard to describe. It only happens when I hit the brakes. It sounds similar to a baseball card put in your bike tire spokes when you were a kid, but not as loud(only hear with windows down). I am not sure what it is but I don't want make my car unsafe. It still brakes normal other than the fact that I need new pads in a month or two. Any thoughts as to why it would do that with the new rotors would be appreciated. thanks.

Try cleaning eveything good with brake parts cleaner, noise could be cheap pads/rotors. What did you purchase and where? Just b/c you bought brembo on ebay, does not mean you will get brembos in the mail :)

they are made by a rotor company called stop check. the sound can only be heard if the windows are down and the radio is off. the pads are axis ultimates. it does not effect the brakes it just makes a hard to describe sound when it is breaking. i think it may be my pads cause they are pretty worn and when i changed out the rotors i used the same pads. either way I will try cleaning everthing i just wanted to see if anyone else ever had the same problem.
