I'm thinking about going for some seat time on the 19th, but concerned about my brakes fading/failing from running laps as opposed to autox runs.
Anyone with experience @ these events—is this something I need to be worried about? Is it no big deal to run a lap or two, let things cool off and go back out?
I've got OEM dot3, stock lines and Hawk pads.

Flush your brake system with some good high-temp DOT 3/4 fluid, you should be fine.

I like Valvoline SynPower for brake fluid. It's cheap, easy to find, and seemingly impossible to boil. You might also take a spare set of front brake pads if your current set isn't pretty close to new. I had a 2.5 RS that I took there for Solo 1 Trials a couple years back, and by the end of the day Saturday I had nothing left for Sunday.

That's what the track's website says. Seems too easy...

Like nunyo said, that Valvolene stuff is pretty good. The best low buck stuff is Motul RBF600. But I've had pads fail at Daytona going into 1 and fluid boil at Sebring going in 7, so, you know, mixing it up is always fun, too. :D
