need 61 corvette convertible frame

as the title state, i need the convertible frame for a 61 corvette, with or without canvas is fine, i'm just looking for one cheaper than the $2700 price new, so if any of you guys have hookups or just know one being sold, please let me know

I talked to a friend of mine that works at Classic Car Restorations in Tarpon Springs. He thinks there may be an old frame at the shop leftover from a resto job.

It doesn't do you any good...but you just brought back some good memories for me. I threw away a soft top (and frame) off of my '61 Corvette I had in high school. I was trying to "lighten" the car up a little. Yeah...I know...that was a stupid thing to do. One of the many cars I wish I had kept!
