I finally convinced Dan to lose the rats nest and let me show him the power is zip ties.

The whole project cost just short of $30 for wood nails and carpet.

We scrapped the fuse block and grounded through the cap. with 2ga primary and 4ga wire to the amps/cap.

The amps and cap are at 45 degree inclines but its hard to tell from the pics. The rear deck is really crappy looking now, it will be replaced with fiberglass pods holding 6.5" mids and the stock holes will be opened up to let some pressure in from the trunk.

The cap is bright as hell, I'm gonna add some blue lighting to the sides to offset it when I redo the rear deck.

so do you carpet around the amps and stuff, or set it all, pull it off to carpet and then reset it?

set the carpet before the amps, its way to hard to do it the other way, thered be seam lines everywhere

hahaha thanks.

If you have a facebook account you can see em better.

Dalton still has all of the original first fix/build photos. I have only a few and some i took myself.

Here are the albums.

Original photos, first installation. Install was meant to only be functional, nothing else, i wasnt in the mood nor did i have the time to actually fix it up so what i did was what you see below

Here are only after-created photos of the floorboard after fix day one. Again i was short on time so instead of getting it all done in one day i asked Dalton for a 2-dayer. I was heading down to ft myers the next day and i needed something that worked, driving 4 hours without music would be torture.

Aaaand Day 2, semifinal day, trunk is essentially built, might add a few things later but even if we didnt, we could still say its done. I'm happy with the way it turned out.

all of the photos of day2 were taken with his camera ;):D.

Also, we have a few more projects for the car perhaps next week, stay tuned =X.

Dalton just has too many spellings, and its too easy to just hit the wrong key.

So, we should just use his TR name...NoNadStyle...:D

btw thats how much the install was, i was on my way over and he said he needed some ketchup. A trip to wendy's and 20 ketchup packets later i had a new trunk.

**edit*** btw part one photos added to facebook photo account thing, under part one obviously. it shows most of the beginning work done.
