Default All you 4 cylinder conversion project guys...

Do any of you have the old 4 cylinder engine and tranny junk lying around still cluttering up your garage. LMK what you have. Uhhhh, hopefullly it would be a decent running setup before you took it out.

If I do what I'm thinking about, I would need the whole 9 yards, even a DS and radiator. (I've got a 5.0 stock rad out in the garage but it's probably different.)This is for Cochese's shell. I'm thinking about getting it up and running as a 4 banger to get me to work and back and work on the turbo car at a leisurely pace. When I get that the way I want it, I'll probbly just swap all the goodies into the 4 banger. Needless to say, 4 cyl Mustangs have not been in my vocabulary so I'm a bit of a noob as far as what I need. What would I do with the extra 4 spark plugs? A little good mileage for a while might be refreshing though.

If you get that 93 year motor, you will put them next to the other 4....

I seem to remember looking under the hood of a 4 banger once and noticing it had too many wires. It belonged to the kid up the street and looked just like the old calypso green Dirtmobile. The kid was tickled to death 'cause he had just bought a car like mine. I popped the hood next to his to show him the differences. Told him his was a 4 banger. He said, "but it's got 8 spark plugs."
