Default Buying new tires, got a few ?s M/T or MTR

I ve been looking for tires lately but last weekend I blew/shredded a tire on 75 at 4am in Georgia, very shitty, the factory rodeo bottle jack crap wouldnt fit where I wanted it or jack up the truck high enough to fit an inflated tire after a couple hours when the sun came up I finally got it to work. First thing i did was buy another jack.

Well I m looking at getting 245 75R16 (one size taller than stock) Goodyear MTR, Kumho Road Venture M/T, Truxxor something similiar. Anyone running these, I know the MTRs come on the new jeep rubicons? I am running bridgestone dueler AT very minimal noise and want something with more tread, I had bfg AT on my Toyota pickup they were better but I still got stuck, I do a lot of driving, on road and off road sand as well as mud and snow in TN. My girlfriend doesn't want tires that hum really loud like Swampers. What should I get? Thanks for the opinions

Rodeo will be getting a lift and new shocks and has full audio system to block out moderate hum.

My friends Rubicons MTRs wore down very fast. My dad has some on his f250 and his are the same story. I had 33inch BFG a/ts on my old Tacoma and I had no complaints. They worked very well in mud. I went through a lot of mud in that truck and only got it stuck because of ground clearance issues. I dont know anything about the Kuhmos. I would go with the a/ts unless you want a mud tire look.

I would take the Kuhmo's over Goodyear's, but wouldn't even bother with more aggressive tread on a stock size tire though. Your gonna get stuck no matter what's on there, lift it and then look for tires. I would recomend the BFG M/T's they are really nice, but have a little more road noise over the A/T's (becuase they have deeper groves too). Pro Comp also makes some pretty nice stuff. check out 4wheelparts.com for a ton of choices. They even have stores in Orlando and Tampa.
