Nice run, Josh... did you even have to slow up much for that Chicago box? Didn't look like it.

I need to get a set of whatever tires Josh has cuz they were gripping on the slick course.

That's so true, AWD is a big benefit. I do need some stickier tires though.

Not on that run I was pretty much full throttle on that one. Yeahwe are still working on the suspension to try and minimize the wheel pick-up. Can't wait for this weekend. Going to the Battle-X up in Atlanta.

Are you still planning for new coilovers before Nationals?

When did you set FTD? IIRC, it was the Mini that took FTD.

The more I drive, the more I think the driver is more important than the car.
It looks like the 2 wheel drive Miata had a dirty 42.5 versus a 44.4 for the all wheel drive.
Both exceptional runs by the way.

I'm going to spend more money on the driver, before I spend more on the car.

I think he ran faster during the fun runs than during the competition runs, but I thought it was funny that the description of the video is "josh sets FTD". I didn't take a close look at my times during the fun runs, the couple I saw were in the 43s, but it really isn't important. :)

FTD is Fastest time of the day, when the day was over I was told I came in with a 41.9. So as long as we are running we are setting times. I ran just as hard in the fun runs as i did on the reg runs. Doesn't matter

It is silly to claim FTD based on fun runs, especially when the person that actually had FTD didn't participate in the fun runs. The car looks fast, though. I am sure you will get an opportunity for an "official" FTD. :)

Officially for the Event no I did not have FTD. I use the PCA events and BMW event for seat time to get the car prepped for Topeka. To be technically honest I didn't say I had FTD. That was my buddy Craig who was excited at the low time. He was the one filming.
