Default STi short-shifters

im just curious if ne one would recommend the factory short shifter from subaru or if i should f that and go with a cobb or sumin else- im lookin for sugestions

I have the OEM SS in my WRX. A buddy of mine has an 02 with the kartboy setup and it's basically the same thing. I'm not sure exactly what KB bushings would do/improve on the OEM setup though....

go with the kartboy. it's cheaper and better.

Just put the TIC Shift Linkage Bushings, the Kartboy Front AND Rear Shifter Stay Bushing, and the Kartboy Shifter Lever. Rock solid feel, oups just realized you had an 06.

i have the kartboy with the bushings ken, but im still waiting on this damn gearset to go in!!!!!!!!!!! hopefully soon then i will give a writeup the shifter, i also put a sti tranny mount on as well.....so we'll see
