so on my way home from work i get stopped at a red light. im waiting for the light to go green and i happen to notice a silver srt-4 at the front of the lane to the right of me. about this time i hear a loud nasty buzzing, but i cant see what car had the nasty exhaust.
so the light goes green and i see the srt take off from the light at a fairly quick pace. im three cars back from him, but the guy that was to the right of me made a right and gave me an opening and i followed.
then i see the srt catching up to this riced out white civic 4-dr... lol. so that was where the fart-can noise was coming from!
i hear the srt downshift and give a few revs, but the civic starts slowing down. im assuming that the civic was trying to get away and not get the beat down the srt wanted to give him.
well i catch up and then pull along side to watch the fun, but then the srt starts backing off?? now i know that i dont stand a chance of beating even a stock srt4 right now, so wtf... why is he backing off? i wanted to see a freaking one sided street race!!*i do not in any way condone street racing or any sort of unsanctioned contests of speed on public roads*
so i inadvertantly allowed a ricer to escape a nasty and well deserved beatdown and to top it off, the whole way down the road the srt stayed 5-6 car lengths back from me. im very confused.
