I just got back from a day and a half school/lapping event at MidOhio with the local Cobra club. All I can even begin to say is OMG that place is amazing. (and sometimes a bit scary....) I've definitely got to get a better seat in the Cobra....

Any of you guys who run with Chin motorsports (or whoever else) need to get up here to run at MidOhio. Over the winter/spring, they completely repaved the entire course. (repaved NOT resurfaced -- they pulled up all the existing pavement down to the ground). The course is SO smooth it's amazing.

I've got a couple of the paddock area, but none of the on course stuff. I didn't really have much time between sessions. I'm sure there are plenty of pics though. There were 41 Cobra replica's there. I'll try to get some from the other guys later this week.

You aren't shooting any video of your lapping? I would love to run a few laps on a freshly paved track. ;)

I haven't gotten around to putting together a camera setup yet... :(

Here's a few pictures from the pits with the intermediate/advanced groups ready to go out for lead follow. The S2000's are the MidOhio School cars that were leading the lead/follow. The vette belongs to a Cobra owner who's car wasn't able to be put back together in time for the event...
