did you give props to the builder of the car at the showing? because if not thats taking credit for the work of someone else. when xat was showing off the bandit they were showing off they're hard work. when you show off a zfever car being dc your not showing your own work, therefore taking the build recognition form the real builder. idk about oyu guys but if i had a shop and i was going to be showing off cars i would want MY best work...not the work of someone elses that i just bought......./ rant

As for the s14, who really cares who built it?? If it was hand built custom one-off pieces i MIGHT understand, but the car is off the shelf parts all put togeather and painted. Bill went out with his drift car to promote the drift movie opening up and get some recognition for his great drifting skills and recognition for XAT for all the hard work, sweat, and money they all put into the Bandit...Then DC showed up there with 2 cars that 1. they didn't build and 2. aren't set up as drift cars ...It just looked a lot like DC was out there to steal some glory.

I just fucking love the fact that Bill is getting hickies on his balls from tampa, and then everyone critisizes DC for every move they make. they cant win for loosing. i'll support ian and his crew because i know their work has fixed a lot of shit problems caused by another shop, and they always treat me with the respect i treat them with, once the white coupe and gold 180 a 100% finished and ready to be shown, I know theyll be worthy of it, and shown without hesitation. But when a shop is still pretty fresh, and shop cars aren't finished because they are plenty busy with paying customers cars, what are they supposed to do?

If you read this thread over again, it wasn't about bashing one shop or another. This thread was about bandit and bill at channel side. Xat showed a few pics at the movico, and we saw them there and "hey, it's a related topic, lets just post our pics in there too instead of opening up another thread!" Why do you people keep opening up the same can of worms?

As DC, we are here to stay, all of you who dislike us, COME TELL IT TO OUR FACE AT THE SHOP, stop hiding behind your little computer. Since i've made my thread months ago here (http://www.tamparacing.com/forums/general-car-chat/306976-problem-dc-i-would-like-make-something-clear.html) we have remedied or attempt to remedy many of the problems everyone always brings up of us.

As a shop that has been around for less than a year, and thrive the way we are now, I am DAMN pleased with how our shop is. We have the customer base, income and quality of work that can rival many established shops around the country.

We don't talk shit about other shops, period. I believe every shop in some way should have some respect. After all, give credit to the owner of the place for forking over the money to start a shop! Opening a shop the size of DC, Xat, Zfever isn't something that could be done over night, nor can it be done without running a legit and honest business, simple as that.

Again, those of you who still dwell on Ian's past, open up your eyes, you are behind the times. Those who talk shit about a shop, get the fact straight before starting, because you will get bashed. Those of you who whines about DC should be bring our own cars... 1,They only allowed 2 cars at the theater. 2, we wanted something that was similar to the cars in the movie and the gold car doesn't have a body kit, and the white car's motor is sitting in the middle of the shop getting some nice new parts.

ive seen dc's gold hatch, its a great looking car. thats why i dont understand why they didnt bring it out. i think the silver s14 should have a zfever decal on it somewhere.

While the S14 was built at zfever. it was more accurately built by me. I physically did ever part of the car except paint after hours. I did so with the help of Major, Ryan, Mark, and maybe a couple others at times. None of which currently work there. Upon the sale, I told ian he could do whatever he wanted with it. Not do say anything bad about Z Fever (as they are more than capable of creating a similar car right now) but that car was all me with help from my friends. I should also add that since it was the second time i built that car, that part of it was actually done by enjuku since it was Ray's old car. So the brakes and suspension were already done when I bought it.

Anyways, it really doesnt matter as I am the only one here that should take any offense to anything regarding it, and I dont. Everyone knows who made it, Ian is always happy to say who made it, and DC has several other well built show peices to back up what they have done on their own. End of story

Seriously, I think both shops can spend that money better (such as doing some better deals in our case, and for XAT, possibly more money toward the Bandit) than to claim who is better.

Ofcourse, I am not in the industry, so I wouldn't know... ;)
