There's a low pressure system that's supposed to move across the state tomorrow and cause some rain. Hopefully it will hold off until we can finish the auto-x!
Gonna load up the tyres and go stick in a few gallons of the 100 octane. See you all tomorrow.:crack:
Edit: Post #666 is about an auto-x... how appropriate
Think they will stay with the normal routine and let the "others" run first, and work second? That place is bad enough in the dry. I don't even want to know what it is like in the wet.

Up to 70% chance. Just count on it raining...question is what time will it rain. It always seems to rain towards the end of the day, just as we are wrapping it all up.
Charles
06-25-2006, 01:20 PM
Looked like it finally started a light rain about the time I left today(lunch break). The call for 3 runs was nearly perfect to beat the rain. Things ran very smooth once we got going this morning. I'd have liked more runs, but staying dry and being home before 1pm isn't too shabby either :D
Fun course overall IMO......
I ended up with a 46.1 IIRC.
D-Roll
06-25-2006, 04:25 PM
Yeah the course was fun, luckily we got in all of our runs in before the rain. I thought I did pretty good considering this was my first autoX. My best time was 48.035, of course that was during one of my fun runs.
jlude90
06-25-2006, 04:59 PM
i had fun, its not my kinda course though, too straight, but you can only do so much on a straight road, and i am still glad i got to run, my axle popped out again, so that ended my day, so no fun runs, but i had a great day either way, and i wanted to thank all the guys who were patient with me Roy and John's helmet issue, i know we slowed it down, but you guys were pretty patient, thanks alot
i got some pictures of the cars in the fun runs, so if you ran there i'll send you the pix, just let me know, they aren't great as i couldn't get out on the course, but hey, pix are pix,
i didn't do great, but had alot of fun, will do again :D

It was definitely fun to push your car to the max in a controlled environment. I installed my rear sway bar 2 days before the event and I'm glad I did. Having adjustable Koni's are a BIG help also along with quality springs (I have Eibach sportlines). I plan on installing a front tie bar as well.
