Here's a couple shots of the action at this past AHQ meet. I think everyone had a pretty good time despite the tropical depression passing through. :lol: That's Dalton's record-breaking 134dbs on the meter. ;)

That's P057 and his car. He did 137dbs on the meter. :bigthumb:

I think...maybe it was 134.7 now that I think about it. Either way...it was higher than you. :lol: Hopefully he'll post up in here exactly what he hit.

the loudest car to come so far that doesnt belong to Toby has been 145 by r0land. i believe anyways, either way his truck has been the loudest so far.

two 15" he2s I think and a fosgate T2000I think. He can do a LOT more than 145 but hes losing power from bad wiring and the top of his cab has like 5mm of flex on it.

Look for the white F150 on 35"s with 12- 15" cvr's at the next meet

i think 5mm is an understatement... try like 3 inches.

Supposedly super accurate, measures the DB in sound/air pressure only.

I'm using a TermPro meter...the same type that USACI, DB Drag and Meca all use (or are supposed to use, anyway). It is pretty much the most accurate meter out there, but it does tend to read lower than, say, an AudioControl 3055. The TermPro uses an actual pressure transducer, vs. the microphone of an AudioControl. At high DB's, the microphone models can lose accuracy.

We almost have to know each other. I first met Mike when he was apprenticing at Radio Active, about 1991, or so. PM me your name, and where you've been.

Toby ill get ahold of mikey tomorrow and let him know toby. and futhermore is mike obsessed with the 12 sub setup lately.:lol: :lol: .or the clamshell:lol: :lol: .the green van had 12 15s in a clamshell.little johns van had i think 16 10s in a power tunnel.didnt the deisel car have 12 12s?rick galans deisel blazer had a clamshell.lil mikes old truck had 12 12s n a clamshell.im gonna have to give him some lip about that when i call him.:lol: didnt jay hahns truck at one point have 8 15s in a clamshell too.:cool:

Ricks Truck Is In The Rebuild Process, Pauls S-10 Is In The Build Stage With 18 12"s. My Truck Has The Same Box As The Green Van With Better Voltage.

im gunna bring 2 setups i been workin on
to see what the output is
do ya charge anything to run the meter?

i have 2 10"s that im about to build a box for this weekend
and i have a 8 inch setup that i been working on for 2 weeks now the inside is coated with fiberglass smooth as glass and really stiff at 51hz tune spl only im hopin to get high up here
seeing if i can beat the guy from realm to 140db with 1 8 befor he does i think i should get 130db im hopin lmk where it is ill be out there
