Me vs. 05 GSXR 1000

So, my boy Julio has been talkin shit forever about running me on his modded 1000 (ran a current best of 9.30), why, I dont know... But for some reason, he really wanted to race my poor little Honda... So Sunday night, I come out on pump gas because I didnt really plan to race anything that would need high boost, and he just happens to be there running his mouth as usual... Well, I finally gave in and agreed to race him, just so he would shut up... I strap on the slicks, and we head off to the "track"... We go down, turn around, and line em up to go from a 45... I start brake boosting, and Dan begins the count... For some reason, my car decided to load up on fuel, so on 3 when I hit it, it kinda fell on its face, then came back alive and spun through the rest of the gear... This gave Julio a good 4-5 car lead, then I threw third, and it just kinda held there with him pulling out MAYBE another car to 140ish... So I lost... Oh well.. We will run again, but next time he gets high boost :D

And yes, I ran a 12.3@119 at track day... With the boost controller turned OFF, a baby launch, and shifting 2500 RPMs early... If the track wouldnt have gotten hose down with oil and I could get a few more runs, I wouldve been able to show everyone a little closer to what the car is actually capable of...

Point blank, I raced the bike because he kept sweating me to run him, I lost, thats it... Give me my props for hanging how I did and taking the loss like a man, or shut the fuck up.. All I can say is this... Race me, and if you beat me, you can talk all the shit you want about my car... If you lose, well, No more Mr. Shit talker :)

It is definetly possible for cars now uh days to beat bikes. Someone please set up some races with bikes so we can end all this old timer hype about oh you kids blah blah blah.......get with the times you old geeser and realize bikes aint beating EVERYTHING anymore.
