I have an 06 Lincoln Mark LT. They come with a small sub under the backseat/driver side.

I'd like to put one or two more (bigger) subs in my truck, but the truck is weird. The back of the backseat does not move, so behind the seat is not an option w/o unbolting the seat. Also, it's a 40/60 split backseat, and the tools and jack are under the small side, and this other sub is under the bigger side.

Any ideas? I wouldn't mind so much having them installed behind the backseat, but when I go to sell it eventually, I'll probably want to keep the speakers and amp, and I want easier access to it.

huh, you lost me with the whole trunk thing. Just throw a box in there whatever way fits and call it a day.

these are the trucks arent they? you couldnt make room under the rear seats? i know a couple people who had boxes made to fit under the seats. just ditch the tools to another spot.

Yes, it's a truck. (says so in the thread title)

I'll have to double check, but I'm thinking the space under the small side where the tools are is odd shaped. It's like the tools and little jack are recessed into the floor. IOW, not a flat surface.

I'll take a good look in the morning.

Here's a picture of the backseat:

The driver side has a small sub under the seat, and the passenger side has that tool kit. It's also a pretty small space.

Like I said, I'll take a look under the seats tomorrow. Maybe I'll remove the sub under the larger side entirely and put something under there.

o mang, fiberglass is ur friend. I couldnt tell from ur post what u were talkin about.

remove the sub, rebuild the enclosure and put something higher power in there - you might also want to use the other side to store the amplifier. The tools can be put into a box in the back.

You know where the Village Inn is? It's across the street, diagonally, from there...at the corner of 301 and SR 54.

thats gonna be a fun ass install... Where are you located at? If you dont get that done at a shop I might wanna take a crack and building a new enclosure down there.
