I think I'll lay off until I get at least one of them carpeted now.

First is 2.0cuft witha 54" port tuned to 27hz
I trashed it cuz its too heavy =( It is loud tho, I will bring it to be metered next month.

If anyone wants it they can have it, its built to the specs for a d6 but will sound crazy loud with just about anything in it.

This one I just made earlier and it looks tight and have a +8db boost at 57hz so it should meter nicely on the higher end but f3 is 38hz so no lows at all.

easiest way to get a wire through air tight.

I'm gonna put a 3/4" cover plate over it to flush the sub and the ports

Looks good. I wouldn't worry about an F3 of 38hz in a car. With the cabin gain factored in, lows should be no problem. I would get a subsonic on it, though.

I think this should go on an official TR Audio calendar, and be celebrated annually...the day Dalton finally carpeted a box!! Now, if he keeps it more than two weeks...

:D It was a tough journey, I almost gave up when I ran out of contact cement.

I PMed u about the deck, and I think I would like to add one of those plug in RCA subsonics as well unless my new amp has one that is high enuff.

It produced the flattest response curve and brought the f3 down to 25.6 hz. I mean it was flatter than a sealed box(the big box). It just turns out that music recordings compensate for the boom already, so by making my box totally flat I made the music more boomy then it was before. Plus I like the +8db gain at 60hz this box makes.

Paint Then Inside Of The Ports Black!!!!!

They are, look at da top pic. I didnt want to die of fumes painting them inside.

No faith!?! I can go 2 weeks without rebuilding it too... OK its true my wife has restricted my purchase of particle board and taken away my jigsaw =(
