do any of yall know of any cheap helmets that would work for roadcourse testing aka they would let pass as a racing helmet?
i'm thinking bout doing the road course test and tune at gainesville raceway coming up and i'm trying not to spend hundreds of dollars on a helmet

I use an HJC helmet. It only cost about $100 and it's Snell approved.

yeah i think they have to be snell 95... not sure though

you should make sure if it needs to be snell SA approved or if M will work. M is for motorcylces & SA is for cars. M is generally less expensive than SA. it should be snell 00 or 05 as 95 is outdated.

I believe mine came from Automotive Engineering on Ulmerton.

The helmet has to be DOT approved. I use an HJC helmet.
