whatever happened to a for sale subforum in here? i remember someone mentioned it awhile back, thought it was a mod/admin or something. seems like it'd be easier to find stuff autox/road race related than in the general for sale forum. just a thought.

Long story... It went down like this:

Civic stolen.

Civic recovered sans wheels, sans instrument cluster.

Tow truck driver rips off rear tie-down trying to drag car onto flatbed with no wheels.

Tow truck driver successfully drags car onto flatbed with no wheels by hooking to rear suspension.

Civic totaled due to damage by towing company. :-(

I don't think I've ever sworn at someone so much in my life as when I saw that car on the flatbed with the drag marks from the rotors... Holy Lord was I pissed.

The last time I saw the car it was at NuFinish on Falkenburg with 6x6's under the rocker panels and one flat spare tire. :(

Currently the plan is to replace it with a Marble White 06 Miata Sport. :-)

Gotta wait for the insurance check, though. :roll:
