if you don't get the serious ones they'll blow. i was running the "600" watts rms compression piston subs (2) on my crunch v-drive 2800...the guy at the retail outlet(wont's say which one) said they'd hit "hard as a motha fucker". well they did; for like 2 minutes. and then it was over. i took them back and got some new ones...this time i spent 30$ more apiece for the superserious audiobahns...blew up in 5 minutes. i demanded a refund.

Audiobahn's upper end subs can get quite loud, especially considering their low price. Don't waste your time with the lower end line. From my experience, you have to take their rated specs with a grain of salt. They do require gobs of power and air space to get them moving though. As far as SQ, they're lacking, much like Kicker. But as far as spl, they will no doubt blow away any Infinity sub. Asking what the "hardest hitting sub for the cheapest price is" is like asking what car is the best though...everyone will have thier own opinion. Your best bet is to check out a few shops and/or friend's cars to find out what sounds the best to you.
When buying on ebay, remember most of the sellers are not authorized retailers and cannot honor warranties. Therefore, you blow it, you're screwed. Most of the other ebay sellers are pushing B stock equipment (returned, refurbished, scratch & dent, display models, etc). Just something to keep in mind.
NitroBMWX sub woofer i have 1 10 and running 600rms to it and people think i have 4 12"s i have it in a 2 cft box tuned to 20 hz (i really should have done 30 lol)

No skee, we'd much rather see this single magic 10" woofer supersub you keep bragging about.
It'd be easy to get mad bump from 10 10"s but i think EVERYONE would be more interested in the single... i dont remember if dalton is right about when you said that, either 8" or 10".

Videos do car audio (spl & sq) absolutley no justice. What are you guys expecting...your monitors to start to rattle?

hahaha i agree. i should take a video of my shit before i head to school to fail an exam, gotta take a pic of this other altima that has a paint job i'd like to get for mine in a few weeks. beware of the barely-any-bass heard and lots of weird looking zooming in on vibrations! for all you know i could just have one hell of a shitty motor! =D
kinda out there question but does anyone know where to buy old nissan chassis parts (specifically a 1994 nissan altima driver door?) thanks =]
