i have cut springs right now with blown shocks...i wanna put new shocks on before making the drive to cali..i have rsr springs waiting to go on when i get new shocks..my question is are kyb gr-2 decent? for the price at least..150
im gonna get coilovers soon but right now im strapped for cash and i dont want my car to take a pounding..im undecided between the kyb's or tokico hp

well if your gonna get coilovers soon why not just buy monroe's or cheapo ones.

the gr2's are just cheap regular shocks, they will not be able to deal with the increased spring rate of your lowering springs. the best hp non-adjustable shock for the money is the tokico blue. i have my corolla slammed on its nuts and the shocks are fine.
