So my friend is trying to narrow down his selection of turbos to consider buying and cannot make up his mind on which one to go with. He is looking to buy an 18g and wanted to know what the best bang for your buck 18g is out there. So far he is looking at deadbolt, power enterprise, and fp. Which of these(or another one not mentioned) would you suggest and why? All advice is appreciated, thanks.

 

FP 20g, is what i would recomend.


what ever he gets, make sure it is OIL, AND WATER cooled. not just one or the other.

 

20g isnt too big for a wrx with stock internals?

 

I wouldn't go bigger than an 18g on a 2.0...

on wrx i would say 16g or 18g i would go with 16g depends on what power u want and it would be safest with 16g imo

 

so it sounds like a super 16g w/ meth is the better choice

 

what kind of power would that be putting out, because im in the same pickle, dont know what turbo to go with so i dont ahve to swap to a hybrid.

 

A 16G on meth??? SS posted in another thread that he had one hit like 320whp (IIRC) on an upgraded TMIC.
