View Full Version : Turbo R/T vs. Carrera

Coming across the Clearwater Causeway on a short trip to put some miles on the car and see how its running, I came across this Carrera so I worked my way through traffic up next to him and when he noticed me coming up along side, he layed into it and so did I. I was already pretty much spooled so the power came on instantly and I heard the wastegate open up and we went door to door. Didn't notice the speed but it was up there. We did this one more time after we let off the first time cause he hit the brakes first and I hit the brakes first during the second race cause we were running outta road and traffic was building.

I'm gonna call it a tie since I couldn't pull him and he couldn't pull me but I think I did pretty well for being untuned and set-up to run richer then I need to be.

Soon, the car will be on the road to stay. Got into it with the Carrera even though I shouldn't have. Attracts unwanted attention right now.

I'll be out soon enough though.

Thats the idea that makes it that much more exciting. LOL Thanks everyone. I can't wait to get the tune alittle closer and see what power and drivability I pick up.
