Hey guys, I have little experience riding a motorcycle and I was thinking about getting a nice beginner bike. I want something with "mid-range" power or speed and something maybe 3, 4 or 5 years old. So I'm guessing a 550 or 600 or something of the like. Also I have not sat on most of the bikes, so I am also looking for comfortablity and something I could learn quick. I most likely would not be interested in a medium to highly modded bike. I am very interested in actually buying a bike so please leave serious offers with prices, conditions and pics (seeing how I dont know how alot of the bikes might look like). Thanks in advance guys! -Alex

Madmanshima and Kwikdelsol93 - The reason I am looking for older, small cc bikes is because I need something cheap because I will most likely lay it down a couple times plus I just want something to get the hang of riding with. Thus the reason I need something cheap. If I had the money you guys speak of I would get an older high cc bike that way if need be I can get up on it. Thanks for the offers guys.
Trethompson - I will contact him shortly, thanks for the heads up! I looked around eBay and some other sites and I found a couple decent bikes for pretty good prices.
Everyone keep postin up but try to keep them under 4 grand...

if you get something small like mine you can insure it. my insurance is only $102/month for full coverage and gap. $250 deductible. thats why i suggest mine. just saying.

For full coverage or just liability? because the difference for me was 75$ a month for liability, and upper 300's for full coverage. Sorry not to hijack the thread but patrick if youre getting full coverage for that rate I'd like to know who its through. Thanks

full coverage through Progressive...for the same coverage, Geico wanted to charge 4-5k a year...
once again, sorry to hijack the thread and good luck finding a bike!
