Yea 9.0 = less than that normally... Its fine running rich on pump gas. the car is 11sec capable with it running rich like that, so safe is fine... Next time I get to the track, I'll lean it out on some race gas, and use my buddies 24.5'' tall slicks instead of my 22'' tall slicks that make me use 4th gear from BEFORE the 1/8 mile all the way through the traps at 6500rpms....
My car likes to run super rich off the bottle. If I lean it out beyond like 10.3 on 93oct it kicks me out of HOM. If I let it run in the 9s AFR, it will run HOM all the way to top speed on 93oct.
On race gas.... Its pretty nasty on HOM with a 12.0 AFR !!! That's all off the bottle though... I might try to run a 7.9/8.0 in the 1/8 mile pretty soon, without the bottle...

Stage 2.
Stage 3 cost almost more than I have in the ENTIRE car from susp. to radar/lazer jammer, to motor to wheels. Not that S3 doesn't work.

It ramps the water in, not like "on or off" it STARTs at 5psi then ramps the pump voltage up as boost rises until gets to 13.5V at full spray. Its adjustable from when it comes on to when it hits full spray.
If you have a "on/off" type, and try to spray at 5psi, you might get too much water for only 5psi ( kick pisses the car off sometimes ), and then on the other end, at 20psi the nozzle might not be big enough b/c if you use a bigger nozzle the water "quinches" the combustion at 5psi.
Another words, this lets you run a big nozzle, and still not add too much water too soon.
Not to meantion it comes with the bad ass connections that just snap together with no leaks.
