Best sub for the money

ok guys I have a older rockford 500 a 2 and im tryin to find out what sub is the best for the money... I have had a kicker cvr 12 and i hated it im lookin for somthin that can handle a good amout of power casue i will be bridging the amp... I heard diamond audio d6 is pretty decent .. but i would like to get some opinions on what would be the best and safest way to go.. also what ohm do i need?? 2 or 4 and I will be running the sub in a single ported box. thanks in advance

If youre gonna bridge the amp and youre running one sub youll want to get a dual 4OHM or a single 2OHM. I vote for a 12W6 though
