im going to be moving back to cali in about 2 months, i have a s13 hatch that CFP is swapping for me, originally, i wanted to rent a truck and tow the car so i wouldnt be putting 2700 miles on it right away..my roomate got us evicted from our apt, so i just spent the money i had for the truck/trailer moving into a new place...anyway, i want to know if a stock sr swap would be able to handle that kind of drive without complications, im not gonna beat on it while im driving out in the middle of nowhere. when i move the motor will be pretty much stock, aside from an fmic and bov...so what do you guys think? is there anything i can do cheap to insure a better drive other than the usual change of seals ect...

You'll be fine...Do you not know that your engine came from a car that was daily driven in another country?

cfp can be trusted. that is a long ass drive. since u have an s13 w/ stock seats? a helpful hint is= roll up a pair of jeans or something for lumbar support. if u do this your ride will be more enjoyable.

I personally wouldn't drive through the mountains or the desert in that car. I would honestly get a second job and save up. If you're like me you dont like drive with out ac and your engine will hate driving through 120* dry air.

hey guys thinks for the input, i wont be driving thru mountains, im taking the southern route...same way when i moved here, so i know the terrain wont be bad, and yes, i know my motor is from a daily driven car, i forget who asked me that, i just wasnt sure if the motor could handle 10-15 hours of driving for 4-5 days straight..and i know cfp can be trusted, ive known sean and ivan for a few years now, back when ivan was a ricer, lol, and sean still worked at xat...and as far as CHP goes, my older bro is one, so tickets arent a problem...
