Where: Publix parking lot at little rd. and hudson ave (north of 52 on directly off little) right by an exxon and wendy's.

When: 8ish till whenever

Who: Whoever, as long as you dont come out and mess everything up for everyone else by trying to show off by doing burnouts and stuff, I like burnouts but dont do them where we meet, so we can keep it there and not get kicked out.

there is another poll to see who still wants to keep it at publix, just in case someone didnt get a chance to vote yet.

I went out last week with my black SRT-4 with my friend that has an orange SRT-4 and there were like three cars. A truck with a system, a mid-80's POS Accord, and some other car not worth mentioning. The only thing there worth mentioning was a 240sx. There was like eight people sitting in a circle; I had hoped it hadn't got to the point that it was so boring they were playing a game of duck, duck, goose. But apparently it was too late. Where'd the meet move to? I'll roll out to Sonic tomorrow night but if it was anything like Denton Ave. last Friday night, we'll probably roll out just as fast as we came in.

I suspect you have never seen a decent import and are basing your judgement off of only the pep boy's crowd. You should go out to one of our Tamparacing track days, at which there are always quite a few imports running in the 12's, 11's, and 10's. Specific RWD V8 cars are more capable drag racers than most imports, but there is no shortage of people who have put a bit of extra effort into making the same numbers with various imports. It is best not to criticize that which you know little about.

Sup guys im kinda new to the board have been lurking in the shadows for a while. just wondering how often you do the hudson meet? i live in spring hill and drive a 99 grand am w/ a kit (some of u have probably seen it black w/ white front , grey skirts n rear.) not any longer I get her back from the paint shop next week ;) alltho i did get some hateraide from the guy in the white hatch w/ red rims a while back... then after i get it back from the painters the motor is getting quite a bit of work. but id like to make it out to one of the meets before shes put up in the shop for a few weeks. just wondering when the next one is and if my 6 cylinder domestic is welcome

You know where SR 54 meets US 41? If not, look it up ;) Coming from Tampa, you'll turn left on 54. Take that down to Little Rd and make a right. Then follow that down til you pass SR 52. Go through the light AFTER 52 and then turn into the Publix/Wendy's parking lot on the right :)

Yea Mike, those rims look really good, you really need to drop the car a couple inches now and itr will look perfect. DSM= Diamond Star Motors;89-99 Eclipse, Talon, and Laser Turbos. EVOs are considered DSMs as well i think. Oh and 90-91 Galant VR-4. Basically anything with a 4G63 and an AWD option.

Yea i knew the GVR4 was only around for 2 years but i can never remember which two. And i understand that technically, DSM went out of business in 94, but i was basically referring to any car with a 4G63/AWD platform as a DSM. A car doesnt neccessarily have to be marketed as a DSM, to have the same heart and soul of a "true" DSM. At least thats what i tell myself.
