Ok, for all you haters, don't come. For those interested in low cost track time, with and outrageously fun time performing for a crowd, bring it out!
You don't have to be the best to impress,
people are just becomming aware of this sport and anything is cool. You don't have to go infront of the crowd if you dont want either of course...
This SATURDAY we will be holding it down at ORLANDO SPEEDWORLD
track insurance (drivers/crew entering the pit area) will be $25 each, sorry, tracks rule, not ours.
spectators are cheaper ($15) and you can mingle with them, but they cannot come to pits.

Ok so this is bullshit............ Tracks rule not ours???????
I know what he's paying for the track that day. And the 25 dollar rule is his not the tracks. He rents the track from them and then Its his discression what to charge...............
Not trying to rub u the wrong way Jason but the bullshit needs to stop in order for people to take his events seriously.

i bet your breath smells like horse shit.. how bout that? huh
listen id rather not have you there spectating.. bring your ass out and drive..
i kinda like it this way because you dont have a ton of 5 dollar spectators sitting behind the fence talkin shit .. and it makes it cheaper for the drivers whom are allready spending at least 200 per event with travel tires and accomodations ect

It's orlando, ever been to there before?
The ride goes by quick at ~70mph.

for those of you that can't swing $25, GET INTO A NEW SPORT
for those who wont spend $15 to WATCH 5+HOURS of RACING plus all day practice, sit at home.
There is MUCH MORE expensive merchandise, MUCH MORE cars, people, and movement in the pits than at a 'dday practice'. This insurance is the way partly maybe because it is because they ALSO race 20 cars at a time, door-to-door. much higher chance for things to happen.
I'm sick of the e-bitching fellas, im not posting this event up for a debate, its for info, either be a bandwagoner and sit at home and wait for another 3x the money practice event, or come be a DRIVER and get some exposure for our sport for a change.
That being said, you can totally 'pit' outside the gate during the day (still costs 25 to drive because u will be going through the pit area and later moving to it) for your buddies (who only pay 15) to hang out and chill with your car and work site but once 4:00 rolls around, you have to move to the pits because the lot is for specator parking and you dont want all your tools hanging out in that environment.
There is no need for you to waste time posting negative sheit. I've been to 3 events now with bobby, who are you gonna TRUST? someone who has done it? or someone hasnt been to one?

well from what i understood its the charge from the track, but either way.... there must be about 50-75 race teams between the others series there and with 5-10 man crews... NONE of which seem to complain at 25$ a person.
park outside the gate and setup camp for morning-4:00pm and your buds can get a 'drifter only' pit access if you understand what i mean, but at 4 we have to move everyone inside because of spec parking. still 25 for driver and 15 for specs tho. i already cleared this with bobby, so we can do that.

It would be nice to get some closer tracks to the south.. 25$ is a good price, but I don't think anyone from South Florida is going to drive 3hrs pay 3$ a gallon for gas, and not drift the whole day..especially for the Orlando track, no offense to Rob or Bobby or anyone, but that track is a POS like Hialeah Speedway. But it's the closest track for a full day of drifting so that's why a lot of people keep attending. If you want drivers to fill up the drivers list, have a seperate event from the whole stock car picture. If the fans are really as interested and wow'd as you say, they will come to watch. Just have stock car / trucks on a Saturday and Sunday can be the drifter series. That is the only way I see this series surviving. But you can all say goodbye to events if Gainesville keeps up with this Test & Tune shit on their road course cuz everyone who likes to drive will be going there for 35$ instead of these oval events. Sorry, and the more drivers you get to come, the track time will be cut down drastically, with that schedule it shows 30mins for drifters, if you got even ATLEAST 10 drivers out there, thats a long trip for just 3 minutes if you dont qualify?? And before you come with wah have you been to any of these wah wah wah, yes I was at the first 3 at the Charlotte track.

well we havent been to every track yet so the fans arent all there YET. and i agree if someone does get the road course tracks cooking then the oval events will die down and bobby will have to either adapt his series to them or maybe have a problem. i agree south florida is a long way to travel but this is tamparacing.com lol. and right now its just a demo for the crowd since we dont get enough to do a comp... either way we would have more than 3 min each, i wonder how much seat time you get at a FormulaD event... anyone know? between the 2 day events...

i agree south florida is a long way to travel but this is tamparacing.com lol.
and thats why florida sucks for drifitng, a lot of event organizers focus on one region and say screw the rest. it would be cool if the one location had a decent track that wasnt a layout, but it's not even that anymore since ocalagp is out of the question. I mean look at Robs events at OSW.. a full day of drifting, 40 drivers. its simple, its not because we are hating on Bobby or the fast truck series w/e. it's a FULL DAY for drifters. and half of those 40 drivers if not more, are from Coral springs and miami.

50 bucks in gas just to get there n back. plus entry fee. tires and so on. we need assurance we will get more then A single run on the track or its really not worth it.
as long as i can get more then 1 run hopefully 5-10 is wat i look for. and a track with more curves and better track conditions will help EVERYONE out. to gain skills

i dont think people are saying screw any certain region... rob lives near orlando im pretty sure, so why make and event yourself and make it far away lol, atleast for now... and bobbys events are part of a previously scheduled race series, he can't be in 2 places at once. we do have another guy trying to take over for bobby and he knows more about it, we soon might have seperate events, i dunno as of yet.
and track time depends on how many come out. the schedule has some flex in it, if we show up in force, we should get our time.
