I have no idea what year truck you have but did you pull the codes from it? assuming that it has an ECU

try some ether.if it stays running while using ether, its ur fuel.
did you push the rotor down all the way?
are you getting adequate spark?
plus it may very well be ur fuel pressure regulator, dirty injectors/jets,or a bad fuel pump.check the amperage going to and from ur fuel pump and check all relays and fuses.

maybe pcm needs to be relearned.
turn key to on position leave it for about 15 min. makes sure lights, radio,ac,etc are all turned off.
after 15 min turn key to off position then try to start.
sometimes takes a couple of tries. i had to do this 3 times when i repro my pcm.

normally the pcm (when it needs to be relearned will still allow the truck to run, but it will run like a fat ass on crack with a broken leg... and thats bad.
