Hey I'm having a hell of a time figuring out what speaker size that comes stock in an '03 Sonoma Extended cab...I'm pretty sure the one's in the doors are 6 and 1/2 but do any of you know what size the two speakrs on the dashboard are?..Are they 6X9's, 6 and 1/2's or what?
Thanks for the help...

sure did...it only lists "door speakers" though, when obviously there are two more on the dashboard...it's weird
dashboard ones are usually around 5 in's, look around to see if you can find something in that area; also, Google is your friend.

the only 100% sure way is to pull them out. that way you can be sure the mounting holes match up as well.

by the sound of it i think he isnt too experienced with that, i think i'd just really look into it first and if possible find any diagrams pertaining to your car and look for how to properly remove things. Or just take it to a shop..

diagrams and online info is often are incorrect due to design revisions, inaccurate model year info, and just plain misinformation. Nothing worse than buying speakers only to find out they are slightly off size.
You have to take em out eventually so just do it and save some time. Post up pics and you can prolly get detailed instructions on accessing the speaker in a few hours.

and yeh I can definitely pull them out, as I'm not as in-experienced as I've made myself out to be ...I built multiple speaker enclosures for mustang and installed the entire system so I can do it..laziness has just gotten a grasp on me lately :nerd:
