It was DAMN cold up there! Humpries laid down a nice pass in the last round 4.71 and looked stout. Lynch was on his way to another low 4.50 or high 4.4x, but the front end kept coming up and he had to get out of it, still coasting to a 4.89...

Kirk got tagged by an old blown camaro, but they were able to patch it up and make the last round. I left before the last for Pro Mods ran, was just getting too cold (was in the 40s).

Unfortunately won't make it down there for tomorrow, but they did announce that next year the 10.5 class will be 100k!

You best bet that FFW will need to change their schedule if they conflict again, with 100g's on the line I think I know where everyone will be... including myself!

actually it didn't rain the entire time I was there, (from about noon on), it was just overcast and COLD. I heard it had rained earlier in the morning and a ton last night (along with a twister that touched down 10 miles from the track). Saw Kirk make his last pass, nice and straight despite the damage (which was mainly cosmetic). Wish I could go down there again today, much nicer outside but cool enough that I'm sure you'll see some great times..

yeah them boys get it done in that series for sure..to bad that 10.5 camaro will be down for awhile..he was on a hell of a good pass if he lifted and still went the 4.49
