I bought two used JL W0's, the only problem was the rings were peeling and looked pretty bad. Can I buy the rings somewhere and glue them on myself or do I have to get it done professionally. Here's some pics of what I'm talking about.
Sub 1

If noone knows where to get it replaced does anyone know the actual name of the ring, I don't think the technical term is ring but I could be wrong. And if I hooked up Sub 2 do you think without the ring something could get damaged?
Thanks

as long as the surround isnt peeling up with it nothing will happen, that foam ring if for inverting the sub. if you are really worried go to walmart and grab a tube of epoxy, mix if together and put it over the edge of the surround and the metal frame. you can actually peel up the rest of that foam if you arent planning on inverting them in the enclosure.
ex fix.....just buy mine in f/s area

that gasket s for if you wanna inver the subs(mount them backwords) you dont need it but im shure like mine if you peal them off you will have glue residue and the speaker will look like shit. it shouldent have any effect the speaker at al if you take it off tho. just be carefull

I would still put resin over the edge of your surround cuz of that spot that was pulling up. especially in the tiny box the pressure is going to be insane.
