57trim slowness, vs Formula69 & Civic.

Well at GIS tonight, Jap and CBRTRX hooked me up with a race.
I am suppose to be scared:-o It was a Hatch with a B18C, on a SC61 and 9 psi.
We did a 40 roll. Spun 2nd.
Both got in 3rd I put about 2 cars on him and 4th I put another 2-3 cars.
Guy was cool, said his car was breaking up or something and gave me thumbs up.

Then project DOUSCHETWAT came out and we did some races.
1st I told him to do a 50 or so roll because he wanted 45 and it is too high for my 2nd and too low for 3rd.
Well I left it in 3rd he got out about 3 cars on me and I reeled him in by 120mph, and he cut off.

Then I told him it is too low for my 3rd and he said lets do a 40, so we both agreed.
We lined up me 1/2 car ahead to begine with.
I spun 2nd and he did but not as much and me shifting to 3rd we are dead on, when I put about 1 1/2 on him and then I shifted to 4th and proceeded to put another 2 cars or so, with him cutting out of the race and getting on it again, cause he couldn't make up his mind weather to even go and waste gas (he wasn't gonna catch up):lol::lol: :wink:
When I was done looked like about 4-5 cars, but he did get out of it a little too.
The Trans Am is running pretty strong but so is the Cavy.

My theroy is that the cavi is "moddy" or something. One weeks its uber fast and runs a 11.9, then the next week it gets beat by.... Well, a lot more people then I expected ( including Kevin, I saw the video and was like :-o ).

My car only ran 12.09 on slicks, the cavi ran 11.9 on slicks. Kevin beat the 11.9 cavi on slicks, and my 12.09 car beat kevin with me on street tires...

See the problem ? I think Jazz's car wants to be the 2nd fastest I-4 FWD street car around one week, then changes its mind the next week...

I does make a difference, not that its impossible to keep the same trap, but have a worse 60ft time, but its pretty common that going from a 1.7 60ft time to 2.3 60ft times will yeild slower ETs, but higher traps.

I ran 9.1@89mph, then 8.3@84mph in the 1/8th on the motor. One was a 1.90 60ft time, the other was a 2.260ft time. Same car, different traction.

Also with a high powered , no traction having FWD car it is possiblle for the trap to go up . I trapped 115 on DR's with the 75 shot . When I put the slicks on I actually started trapping 117-119 because I spun so horridlly through 1st/2nd that with traction I was able to actually make up ground and speed ...

Kevins car is the same way . It goes nearly nowhere in 1st or 2nd but is able to get moving , imagine if he had tires , the damn thing would be out so hard 90 % of the people at gandy couldnt catch it either . Thats why Slicks > DR's

The Cavy froma roll 40-120 will not beat the CRX given the CRX has traction . I've ridden in both cars and the CRX rides out far harder than the Cavi ....

The stop is traction dependent

I went to drop the fuel down to a .26 and looked in my bag of nitrous pills for the .26. Guess what I found !!!!! I found I ran SLO_Si that night with a .28fuel pill, AND A .32 nitrous pill !!! That's a 110shot of fuel and a 50shot worth of nitrous !!! My car is faster ALL MOTOR, vs those pill settings !!! That's the REAL DEAL !!!

If Kevin beat me so greatly on the 100shot, then WHY THE HELL would I be all over him for another 40-120mph run ??!!!!

The CRX races 8 days a week forever now. I figure the deal with my car out, and now its magiclly retired... Please.

I'll race anything you put in front of me that's a street car and a close race, but a race car with a tag on it, isn't a daily drivable street car.

There's 2 million RWD and a lot of AWD cars that can kick the shit out of me, but against FWD I-4 from a dig, on street tires, I'm pretty hard to beat ( deffinately not un-beatable or anything ). That hatch with good tires would run high 11's . It would have been a good race but the Hatch pulls harder uptop , VTAK rules . So I think it would have been in front yes . He raced him on a bullshit tune that probally made 240whp and it was breaking up at 7500 or so ...

I was un-aware the race was going to happen to. Think I knew I was going to lose and didn't want it recorded ? Then agreed to a dig race with a camera :lol:

Nitrous issue fixed, like I posted.

I wasn't aware the car HAD ISSUES. I don't have that big Jap Dan money to get the bottle filled 8 days a week. I screwed myself on that one...

When I raced the R6, I watched the AFRs. They dipped into the 13s !!! Scared the crap out of me. I put in the .32 fuel pill ( taking the .47 out by mistake ). Tired to run the car, and it wouldn't even run !! I thought the bottle was emty... Swapped the .28 jet in and figured that the .02 extra fuel should have been about right to make it squared again and never tested it. I got out there, hit the .28/.32 combo, got beat from a roll. I thought the newly installed W/I was doing it some how, so I pulled it. Then pulled 26% across the AFC, which let me know about as strong as the car does on the motor with HOM. So call it a SUPER SUPER SUPER rich 50shot, then take away a little bit of fuel making it a super rich 50shot, then figure in that I run the car in NON-HOM on the bottle, and the fact that the HOM made a 26whp difference across the band = MAYBE 25hp over what I make on the motor, and I ran the car 17mph faster than my no-nitrous trap...

That's the full expenation. And the reason Kevin KNOWS NOW not to come race me now b/c my "slow skittle" beat his ass from a dig on no-nitrous power levels, and with 75hp MORE power than I had vs the dig race, he should know that I'd get him from a roll too.

But instead, he'll stay over there, acting like he's the man cause he beat me from a roll, yet bitchs up at the chance to race the REAL Sour skittle.

You said keep it real but the other people might as well had said it with their implying, but the only thing that bugs me is people telling me slower cars than mine are faster!! yet they don't wanna race me to see, but they are quick to talk shit on the net.

I am out there all the time so if anyone wants some they can come and get some, I understand Kevins situation.
But why everyone keep on saying his car is faster than mine.
I raced him on 15-16 psi pulling timing and lost 2 cars or so, so now I am not saying I did but say I put a 75 shot on my car he is still faster even tho we didn't rematch??

So by some Australian extravagant dislocational osmosis, my car and only my car doesn't respond to a 75 shot.

no, the sc6152e has made over 600whp @30psi. The car was running a basemap, just good enough to drive around. @ 9psi the car will make over 260whp. he ist a race for you anyways, its a bone stock 190k mile gsr with a very nice turbo setup. ;)
